About Jennifer.
Born and raised in the vibrant cultural landscape of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jennifer has been painting since she could first hold a brush. Her creative journey began formally with a BFA in Graphic Design from Louisiana State University, which led her to Perdido Key, Florida, where she worked as an art director for tourism and lifestyle publications along the Emerald Coast.
After relocating to Southern California, she continued freelancing in the editorial and tourism sectors, but found herself increasingly drawn back to her roots in fine art. Murals began as a passion project for friends and family, eventually leading her to fully transition away from graphic design after a move to Houston, Texas.
In Houston, her mural work quickly gained momentum, and when the world slowed down during the COVID pandemic, she took the opportunity to dive deeply into canvas painting. She began attending workshops across the country, learning from artists she admires and pushing herself to grow not only in skill but in her ability to eventually share that knowledge with others.
Now, with a brand-new studio space complete, She is dedicated to creating art full time and opening her doors in 2026 to students eager to explore their own artistic voice. Whether through large-scale murals or intimate studio classes, her mission is to inspire creativity and connection through paint.
